"The Monroe County School District has been
ranked by the Mississippi Department of
Education as a "High Performing" school
district each of the last two school years,
which puts our district in the top 20% of the
152 school districts in the state. Also,
each of our three attendance centers (Hamilton,
Hatley, and Smithville) are all ranked by
the Department of Education as "High
Performing" individual schools.
